Passing through Wawa on the way to Sault Ste. Marie, the Wawa Goose statue is a large majestic site by the street that overlooks the Trans Canada Highway to the west. Very impressive as was the interpretive museum.

The Wawa Goose is a must see!!! Great to see the brand new Goose looking great and not weathered. This is one of the most iconic things that I look forward to seeing in every drive up along the North shore of Lake Superior.

It is difficult to see from the main highway during the day so at night it can be seen but it is more difficult and dangerous. It is on the road into Wawa so is not on the main highway. You can stop near it anytime of day or... More
It is difficult to see from the main highway during the day so at night it can be seen but it is more difficult and dangerous. It is on the road into Wawa so is not on the main highway. You can stop near it anytime of day or night to take a look. However driving at night is not recommended in Northern Ontario.
