Hubby and I did a self-guided tour which took 2 hours to do. We spent as much time as we could at each of the 3 caves that you are allowed to go into without a guide and could have gone further into 2 of the caves, had we wanted to get really muddy and dirty by belly crawling and... More

I took my kids (9 and 11) on the three-hour guided tour and it was well worth it. The guide was fun, informative and adventurous - and so were my kids! We got to try all the "challenging" options (squeezing through tight spaces, climbing up flowing waterfalls, experiencing "absolute darkness," sliding down the "cave slide"...) and it was all amazing.... Had a great time with my sister in law on the 3 hour guided tour. We first met our guide Alex after the intro video. It was definitely all that we could have hoped for, never trying before. It was more than anticipated but still doable and challenging for a beginner. It was a very knowledgeable and fun adventure. Looking... More

The Horne lake Caves are in this park. There are several caves which take different times to tour. Tours are led by excellent guides.I did the shortest tour and managed most of it but copped out at one climb. If going make sure you are warmly dressed and with good shoes, not flipflops. There are 2 campsites in the park.

The caves are a treat. Something different to explore. You can go on your own* with helmet an light which you can rent, or you can go on a tour or two. We heard the spelunking is great fun

We did the 3-hour Wet & Wild Tour, and it was really great. Our group ranged from age 20 - 55, and if there were some tough spaces, we had alternative routes. But we all stepped out of our comfort zone and did just great. Our guide was very careful and encouraging and his knowledge of cave history was very... More

My partner and I went on the 4 hour tour, our first caving experiencing, and it was amazing. I never thought BC had such an extensive cave system. We're 57 and 61, pretty fit, but not rock climbers, and this trip was well within our ability. Our guide was very competent and we felt safe the entire time. We learned... More

Horne Lake was my first caving experience and what an eye opener it was! There is so much unique beauty hidden in those caves! Our guide was extremely passionate and eager to share his knowledge about the secrets of each of the three caves we visited. Main cave was our first stop, it began with a slightly narrow entrance, but... More

Clothing - I have caved in many areas of Europe and this is the first place that asks you to wear your own clothing without providing a protective over suite. There are very few people in the world who have good water proof material that they don't mind getting torn or shred on the rocks in the caves. To enjoy... More
