Staff and volunteers educated myself and my family on snakes, and turtles. Interesting place to take children of all ages. Off the beaten path and be careful driving in and out on road leading to the Nature Park as potholes are plentiful. Drive with caution

We visited scales and I would certainly go back. You get your own personal guide that answers your questions and takes animals out for you to hold. My daughter loved it

This place is amazing for kids, totally worth a stop and reasonably priced. Kids get to handle some creatures and will on slower days get 1 on 1 interpretation. There is a nice trail to walk after your visit in their back yard also. Have...More

The exterior doesn't do justice to the quality of species they have. The staff is very knowledgeable and happy to answer all your questions.A good rainy day educational outing for kids.

Hey, thanks for the great comments! We don't like our exterior too much either, and hope to be able to afford some big changes to it in the future!
