This was really fun. The tour guide is interesting and funny. We saw the rocher perce and the bonaventure island. We were lucky there was some seals and thousands and thousands of bird. It was a beautiful sunny day and we really enjoyed this outing.

My husband, teenage son and I took two boat trips on the same day in August because we were leaving the following morning. Both trips were okay. The first, was the trip to Bonaventure Island. Good commentary on the island and on Percé Rock. The captain took the boat around the rock and the Island. We didn’t get off on... More

Well, OK, fair enough, there's no guarantee, but 2.5 hours on a boat with kids eager to see whales and nothing showing up is a bit disappointing. I would have thought the offer of a free trip the next day would have been in order... The lady in the ticket office said they'd seen humpbacks and fin-whales daily all summer... More

The pluses- smaller boat, friendly bi-lingual guide, ok weather to start. I was glad that we were not on the bigger boat that another company had, people were really packed in like cattle. The captain and the guide really tried to find whales for us (the cruise lasted 3.25 hours) and they really seemed to care, that was really nice.... More

Wow! We really lucked out. Not sure what the norm is but we saw so may whales. Two types. Minke and humpback and a seal. We stopped to watch them for almost an hour. It was non stop! Just when we thought we'd seen it all there were more amazing sights. Truly exhausting to see it all!

Impressive cruise -well worth the $30 fee. Go topside or stay below in the glass windowed cabin. Enjoy the geography and fauna while the Captain provides oratory on the history of the region as well as the animal life in both official languages. Absolutely a must do when in Gaspe.

For $30 you will get a boat cruise around the Rocher Percé and Bonaventure Island. If you leave early in the morning, you could get off on Bonaventure Island and explore the hiking trails (the last boat will pick you up at 5:00). Seeing these two things from a distance is one thing- seeing them up close is amazing and... More

Excellent whale watching cruise. Very knowledgeable tour guide. Comfortable boat, sized well so all passengers had a good view of the humpback and fin whales that we saw.

We took this boat ride while in port from a cruise ship. The ticket office for Julien Cloutier is right on the main road that goes into town and very easy to find. The man in the ticket booth was helpful and friendly. The price was very reasonable for the wonderful ride that you get and worth the fare paid.... More

We originally intended to go with a competitor - traversier sur l'ile as we had a little flyer. When we got there we were completely ignored for a full five minutes, so we went here instead. The service was very friendly from beginning to end. The guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The boat was quite comfortable with great views... More
