Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The waterfall isn't quite as incredible as the hype, but it is worth visiting. Ignore the signs in the village that indicate it is 7 km away. It is a cool 4 km from the pier and easily walkable in regular shoes or sandals. Just follow the arrow and keep going straight. This isn't a hike... it is just a dirt road (occasionally paved).

There is another little waterfall if you continue walking past the main one,

I don't think the admission fee is collected on-site anymore, but you might want to bring 25,000 IDR per person in case that starts up again.

Takes quite a motorbike ride from Labuhan Aji village to reach the falls, but it's well worth it - though truthfully I might not have quite the same opinion if we'd been besieged by a group of tourists. As we were alone, it was a magical place. These are travertine falls, so the water is milky from the dissolved calcite, glowing green as in these photos. The walk along the river will take you to a number of swimming holes. Beautiful place - with the moniker of "Lady Di's falls" as apparently she enjoyed them too.

So good that I’m walking there twice but it’s possible on a scooter if you are not so fleet of foot!

the waterfall is just amazing, nestled in the forest. Mother Nature is able to build unbelievable wonders with deposit of water that create stalactites...
The place is peaceful , we really enjoy

I visited as part of a large group so didn’t get the “beautiful nature” experience that other reviewers have described. Instead I enjoyed watching local youngsters delight in both taking care of and having fun with the large group of tourists. There was a lot of show boating and a few belly flops but mostly people of different ages and nationalities letting out their inner child and having fun.

I say that because I could quite easily give it a 5 star "wow amazing" review or an average "meh waterfall" review as another has done.
I can see it in both lights.
It isn't the biggest or best.
Theres nothing there except it. No signs or many people. Not much in the way of handrails or well built track.
It's just a waterfall. The water is very clean and a kind of blue colour. We swam in it and there is an area about 100m downstream where people were diving.
It was worth the trip and infact I would say that the trip is part of the experience. We were a group of about 6 who came via the dock. The locals took us from towns dock to waterfall on some dodgy looking scooters. They took us down, waited, then took us back. For that it was just 100,000 rupiah each.
The track is about as rough as it could be for a scooter. Ditches and rocks everywhere.
The locals were all quite nice.
If your female cover up when on their scooters. They don't like bikini girls on the back.
Anyway, yea its just nice little waterfall but certainly a unique experience as far as I was concerned.

While I was here, no one there and that was an awesome experience to blend with nature. Spend some time to walk in the forest and playing at the waterfall.

The water is clear and fresh. Can swim here and please prepare yourself to get wet. Do not bring too much belonging if it's not necessary.

Walking around 10 min from motorcycle drop-off point. Have to use motorcycle from village to the waterfall area around 20-30 min rides. The road is really bumpy. Locals will help to find this motorcycle rent (ojek).

It was a great experience, the most beautiful waterfall I've ever seen in my human life. It's really worth it to go there.
