Is a really beautiful place. Charco Azul truly has a blueish color, and the best part is that it's right next to Guavate! So you can splash in the water and then have a delicious traditional meal.

The reason I gave it 3 stars was because of the tour package. Had I gone here without the $75 fee per person, I'd surely have given it 5*. Cute little Tiny frogs as shown in the pic I attached

Very Beautiful place to visit, it's about 45 minutes from Isla Verde, parking is very limited so go early. There is a short walk to the River, nature is amazing, once your at the River you can enjoy the nice cold water. No entrance charge....More

i believe it is free. i did not pay. but there was a storm that day. they have a picnic area toilets and parking off the road. it is about half an hour from the main N/S Hwy. and 20 minutes from Guavate the Lechon capital!!
