Beautiful hiking grounds

Well maintained park with nice hiking trails. If you look closely, you can see some remnant fossils.

The outside of the mine office and the info plaque were all that we could see. Some of the crew did walk up the trail a ways but said there wasn't much up there to see.

Must go when visiting the excellent Royal Tyrrell Museum, Drumheller, Alberta. Informative, clearly marked trail. Interesting landscape. Not overly crowded with tourists.

Lovely area and plenty to do in and around Drumheller. Make sure you take in all the sights and attractions available. Most walks are easy to do, the area is potted with things to see and do.

This is a former coal mine site just off the "Dinosaur Trail" loop drive out of Drumheller. It's on the right a little before you reach the turn-off to the Royal Tyrrell Museum. The site has an interesting history, but there's very little to see....More

Stayed here with a motor home. Easily found a place to stay. The landscape around this campground is what makes it wonderful.
