I've done this hike a few times and this time was just as good as any before. They've done some upgrading to the trail. The first kilometer or so has been widened. Probably due to the fact they installed a new bridge. The rest of...More

Although we never did the whole trail, the start was pretty good. Easy walking , well marked and lots of parking. Our next trip to Campbell River, we are making the time to do the complete journey.

Ripple Rock is a great afternoon hike with easy access from the highway parking lot. The trail has some steep sections not suitable for mobility-impaired people. The viewpoint is particulary spectacular if you aim to arrive near full current.

We read reviews and were eager to hike this trail just ten minutes out of Campbell River. The signage on the highway is excellent. The sign at the actual entrance leaves a bit to be desired. Make sure you have an idea how far 400...More

Great day hike, not too difficult, nice scenic stops along the way. Just over 9 km roundtrip, but we had some diversions. One short climb, did not use the ropes, but may be handy for some. Even on a grey day the view at Ripple...More

Some of the most dangerous tidal changes in the world are here. They surge through the narrow channel known as Seymour Narrows and you have a front row seat from the Ripple Rock lookout.
