A lovely 3-hour there and back again walk, through beautiful woodland and ending with stunning views on Quadra Island.A little more than easy, so be prepared to sweat in BC's summer heat.

We read reviews and were eager to hike this trail just ten minutes out of Campbell River. The signage on the highway is excellent. The sign at the actual entrance leaves a bit to be desired. Make sure you have an idea how far 400...More

Great day hike, not too difficult, nice scenic stops along the way. Just over 9 km roundtrip, but we had some diversions. One short climb, did not use the ropes, but may be handy for some. Even on a grey day the view at Ripple...More

Some of the most dangerous tidal changes in the world are here. They surge through the narrow channel known as Seymour Narrows and you have a front row seat from the Ripple Rock lookout.

We went when it was raining and still enjoyed the hike. Definitely not for those with mobility issues and not suitable for younger children as there are some steep spots. We took our time and stopped for a picnic lunch at the beach and then...More

I was a bit nervous to do the hike as I had heard it was really challenging, but it was fine and as long as you can handle some stairs you can do this hike. The view at the top is fabulous-bring a picnic, there...More

A good bit of interesting history attached to this place, quite a hike if you want to take it but you can soak up the amazing views from the view point next to the highway.

My wife and I did this hike and enjoyed it. Moderate length and elevation gain/loss. Trail in good shape but not much to see along the way except at a few viewpoints. The reward is at the end where you are perched on a rock...More
