We live in the area, and choose to visit this spot in during the colder months. We see seals, sealions, many types of ducks, and lovely scenes. There are different ways to enter the beach. It is best to inspect a map before entering as...More

We enjoyed the short walk through the forest and was delighted to come upon a beautiful ravine, filled with ferns. The air was so still there and it was pretty to watch the maple leaves stir every so often and begin to fall to the...More

Wonderful trails. Great place to go at low tide. You can wander and search the flats for all kinds of flora and fauna.

Wide, well kept trails through large mature trees. Some lead to the ocean with beautiful views. Most of the time there are few other walkers, giving it a more remote feeling. Always enjoy our time there.

Havent been here in years but a beautiful little loop hike from parking lot, down to the beach then up the other side. Saw some seals sunning on the rocks and some ‘funguys’ fungi along the trail. Beautiful place yo go.

Hard to beat this park. Wonderful hiking paths deep in cedars and ferns. The paths are always kept up. The air is amazingly fresh and clean. It’s always cool and shaded in there. There are 3 paths down to the ocean which is a fair...More

Got a bit lost when we headed down to the far right side of the beach, but then found the 'exit' further along, and really enjoyed our visit to Seal Bay. Great trails including some nice little bridges, and the beach is really nice and...More

It's pretty steep down to the water. I guess it depends on your physical condition. It would take me an hour.

As above but if you want a 100% off leash nice park walk - go to Nymph Falls. It's the other direction from Seal Bay but it's an off leash park and the Dogs LOVE it!
