This is a lovely place to walk around. You have nice views of the river and estuary. If you are interested in birdwatching there is plenty to see. Most times there are bald eagles about. We went there several times.

Either biking, walking, running or renting kayaks this is the place. You can start the walk at either end but I like starting by the airport. You can watch small aircraft take off and land. The paths are paved and well used. Round walk is...More

Nice little area to walk. My kids enjoyed seeing the planes, eating blackberries, and the wild rabbits in the area. Was pleasant.

I often take my two girls 4 and 6 years old down to the airpark. We bike, play at the playpark, watch herons and read bout the historic fish traps. It is a great way to spend a day or even just a few hours.

Took a friend round the airpark walk to experience this unique environment. Something for everyone here - seals in the river, kayakers on the water, airplanes on the runway and float planes too. Beautiful views of the estuary, great places to sit, sip coffee, get...More

A neat little friendly cafe on the River walk, which surrounds the air park estuary. It's small and super casual. Decor is limited to a variety of interesting toy planes suspended from the ceiling. One orders at the counter from a blackboard menu. Service is quick....More

This is a year round attraction, with planes and helicopters using the landing strip, walkers, joggers, cyclists etc. using the path, a nearby Park Cafe, a little marina for the canoe and kayak club (rentals too), and a beautiful Rhododendron Garden next door. This park...More

Air park mileage, depending where you start and end, there is posts along the routes telling you your distance travelled. We like to start at Mallards Beach and around Airpark, I think it would be 5kms. The Airpark circle... More
