We just wanted a, not to strenuous, way to cycle round. This kept away from busy roads and allowed us to see a different side of town. Clearly signposted, and easy to follow. As a Rotary member in UK it was great to see his...More

Only did part of this trail as some sections didn’t sound too appealing. The parts along Kicking Horse River our to Confluence Park were good. It looks like the town has tried hard to develop its tourist appeal a bit more. Excellent signage on the...More

Use them all the time, really help connect different areas of the Golden town core. Nice for biking or walking, most run along the river and provide nice scenery.

These trails are wonderful! You can walk from the downtown core right to Confluence Park on the other side of the airport, or you can take a shorter loop through the wooded areas of town. Of course, part of it is along the beautiful Kicking...More

Nice flat walking paths with plenty of benches. Dog friendly (waste bags & receptacles along paths), and very scenic.
