Chatter Creek is one of Western Canada's largest and most spectacular...

Chatter Creek is one of Western Canada's largest and most spectacular powder cat skiing and heli skiing destinations!Chatter Creek's cat skiing terrain spans 238 square kilometres, ranging from 1,500m (5,000 feet) elevation up to nearly 3,000m (10,000 feet). We've got some of the deepest, lightest, driest powder snow in the world. Best value on a backcountry destination! Our varied terrain encompasses a mix of tree skiing, vast alpine bowls and spectacular glaciers. The views of the Rockies to the East and the Columbia and Clemenceau ice fields are unparalleled. At any one time, this vast area is shared by no more than 36 skiers and boarders plus their 6 guides.Chatter Creek is only three hours away from Canada's fourth largest city Calgary. There are many places to cat ski but there is only one Chatter Creek!

Very impressive operation deep in the Rockies....Absolutely beautiful setting and mountains which look like your in a constant Ansel Adams picture..... Lodge is very impressive for being out in the wilderness with Heli-Only access.....food is great, bar is amazing and the staff are incredible..... If you can get in, because they are usually completely booked, get on it...

If you’re looking for deep powder skiing in terrain that will knock your socks off...this is it! With some of the best guides in the industry and the most friendly staff you'll find anywhere, one trip here will never be enough! Unlike heli-skiing with cat skiing you’re never grounded by poor visibility and with Chatter’s massive terrain you're guaranteed to... More

Always great snow, plenty of terrain regardless of weather and conditions; above treeline, glades, the trees, steep, glacier. Fantastic and friendly crew at the lodge in a great setting, alone deep in the Chatter Creek valley. I am coming back next winter!

Wicked terrain. Wicked food. Wicked Lodge. No complaints. Would go back in a second. Rooms spotless. A little more geared to an older crowd, but a good variety of people were on our trip.

From the moment you see the legendary Log Lodge and look at the rugged Canadian Rockies that surround it you realize this is the Canadian Backcountry at it's finest. The terrain is over the top from the mind blowing Pillow Lines, the open glades in the Burn to the wide open Cruisers in the Oyster Bowl, Chatter Creek is what... More
