Unfortunately Roxanne really wasn't filmed too much in Nelson other than the great fire station. Yes, it's worth seeing if you visit Nelson BC . Let me know if you see Steve.

Nelson has some lovely quaint buildings and the fire house is definitely one of them. We visited the outside, so I can't say what the interior is like.

If you are a Steve Martin fan, drop by here and see where the firefighters from the movie Roxanne were stationed. The station is apart of the community and the building looks amazing. But, I do not know when the museum time of operation is.

Historic firehall of Hollywood movie Roxanne fame. Still functions as a working facility for the Nelson fire department and has great museum.

We popped in to check out the museum. Very cool collection of antique fire fighting tools, trucks, bells, uniforms, etc. We were also shown were there was a geo cache, which my son thought was so cool.

The firehall has been in operation for over 113 years. A great museum with firefighters that know the stories and can explain the current and historical equipment. A visit you won't want to miss

Disappointed to see it so worn down definitely needs some tlc to the outside of the building. Bring it back to what it looked like on "Roxanne" lol
