Great selection

The owner is a very nice old lady. She was very helpful. And the variety of wool was good. Wool, cotton, merino ... and much more.

This is a standard wool shop, not as pretty as some on the island, but it has good stock and supplies. In a strip mall beside Pharmasave on the highway.

Not fabulous, but if you need somewhere to buy yarn in Parksville, this is one of your only options. Make sure you bring cash or a cheque because the owner does not accept debit or credit cards.

This shop is full of a wide variety of yarns for any knit or crochet project. Lots of patterns, oodles of selection. The owner is quite helpful but not down your neck. Anything you want or don't see, just ask. She carries the old standbys but she definitely is on top of the modern needs too. Lots of accessories available.... More

If you're a knitter this is a "must" stop as Cathy who has owned the Wool Shop for the past 30 yrs has approx., 1300 sq.ft. crammed with yummy yarns. If you fancy making a Cowichan style jacket then she has Little Pure Wool Country Roving by Briggs & Little in 15 colours. Stockenwolle and Regia sock yarn in solids... More
