Popped into Parksville to stroll around a small coastal town before travelling over to Ucluelet. Parking was easy and free, though it was quite busy for a Monday morning. We soon found out why, the Parksville seniors and retirees are an active bunch with baseball...More

This is a beautiful park with sand beach and mountain views. It has a lovely boardwalk and a labyrinth. The sand sculpture contest is held in mid July. There is also a large children's playground and water park. Great place to fly a kite.

What ever your age or interests, the beach at Parksville is an absolute must visit. The park borders the expansive beach with a wood boardwalk along half of the park, and a paved walk the rest of the way. The place to walk to enjoy...More

Whilst I was there for a picnic the grass was too long & although we all took our own chairs, I got bitten about 10 times. Ugh! The porta potties left a lot to be desired. First and last visit to this park.

The beach is middling compared to the alternatives in the area, but the playground and splash pad is huge and a delight for our 4 and 6 year old. Great food trucks, though way overpriced.

So much space and variety at this park. Besides a seemingly endless beach there is a splash park, playground, skatepark, softball field, pickle ball, curling club. WOW - all within walking distance of the downtown area with restaurants and shopping.
