This is a nice beach, close to resort drive. There is a ton of walking to be done, so hopefully you are in shape. Lots of sea life to explore, our children enjoyed this beach. Best time is in the summer but anytime is still worth visiting. When the tide is out, there is much to see. I enjoyed all... More

We went for a nice walk along the water and view was amazing. Bald eagles, seals were just a few things spotted. Worth the journey.

One of my favourite places to visit, this park has an enormous beach which goes on forever at low tide. At high tide it is a great place to swim for children. The park has some nice trails and lovely picnic spots, many with a wonderful view of the coastal mountains.

Excellent park for hiking, family fun or camping right on the ocean. This is a very natural and rugged park which is suitable for all ages.

Great picnic sites and a wonderful view of the distant mountains. Very clean and safe. Many varieties of shells can be found on the beach at low tide. We took our visitors there and they were in awe of the views. When they return to the Island, their intention is to camp at Rathtrevor.

If your looking for endless beach and lots to explore then this is the beach for you. In the summer spend hours chasing the tide ot building the biggest sand castles. Make sure to find a high spot and prepare to move when going in the summer. In the winter months there are trails on the beach or off. Fire... More

This is just north of Parksville, about a 3-4 minute drive off of highway 19-A. It's picturesque and peaceful. It isn't as large a beach as I would have thought. We went in late January and it wasn't warm but it wasn't bone chilling either. I wasn't a great fan of all the people or of their dogs (most on... More
