Go at low tide and the beach is endless. The water is so warm when th the tide comes in and you can walk in the wate for a kilometre. Tons of picnic tables and lots of room.

It is so awesome when the tide is out...great for little kids! You can walk for miles and miles and miles! Dog friendly, a water park and park to play in! Great place to visit!

An absolutely beautiful beach that should not be missed on any visit to Parksville! Low tide is a great time for exploring but Rathtrevor is a wonderful place to visit anytime!

Firewood is about $8 for a small bundle, enough maybe for one evening.

Cell service fine. There are bathrooms not sure about dogs

We were at the day use beach area and had no problem with cell coverage there....hope it helps
