Seeing the jumping salmon up to the falls was great! Also the river stuffed with a huge amount of these fish gave a nice impression. Unfortunately did not see the mother bear and cub

Only came upon this place after a recommendation from the Port Alberni Visitors Centre. So glad we took their advice. The walk up to the falls and salmon ladder is beautiful but the sight of the salmon waiting in the pools and then attempting the...More

We really enjoyed visiting this park and could not resist spending an hour just watching the Falls and viewing all the salmon making their way through the fish ladder and upstream.

We went to Stamp falls as we dearly wanted to see the Salmon run. We were not disappointed! Great viewing areas over the falls from above meant that you could just stand and watch them leaping up the falls. Incredible to watch. There is a...More

We visited this park in hopes to see salmon and we weren't disappointed. There are a couple of viewpoints where you can see the salmon "resting" before jumping the falls. While we were there we witnessed salmon jumping up the falls and some others using...More

The Stamp River fish ladder and the Stamp Falls is an amazing thing to see the fish are trying to get up river to spawn. And they can jump the falls or come up the fish ladder.

Yep, exactly what they said ^^, the road from the entrance to the parking lot is unpaved but solid. It does get pretty dusty behind the vehicles :) Beautiful area!

It takes 3 hours to drive from Victoria to Port Alberni. From Port Alberni to Stamp River Falls another 20 minutes. If you are camping, it is a wonderful place to set up right along the river. Beautiful and peaceful... More
