Revelstoke is like Rusutsu or Kiroro in Japan in that the base of the ski hill is big hotel. And basically, if you're not staying at that hotel (which is reasonably expensive), it kind of limits your experience of the Mt... There is a bar, a restaurant and a bakery open to the public. And an outside seating area. But... More

OK so you have read that it is steep & the pow & the choppers; yes it is all of that. When it dumps people just appear out of nowhere then disappear until it happens again. Extremely long runs & plenty of steeps, trees & back country if that is your passion. Best for solid intermediates & above. Whilst there... More

By far my favourite place to ski. There are so many options for all levels (maybe a few less for super beginners), but I also like that. Warming rooms to keep warm, lots of places to wet your pallet and have an apres ski at the bottom and so close to town! Can't wait to return in February!

We skied Revelstoke when there was some new snow which allowed for some absolutely amazing runs. There is some great terrain in bounds to hike to, and they have done a fantastic job on opening up a number of tree areas for glade skiing. We hired a guide from the mountain for our first day, which allowed us to skip... More

I only had two days here and was surprised to see I didn't cover enough of the mountain. It is surprising huge for only four lifts. From the top, the hike into the North Bowl was amazing, deep powder and steep terrain made for a winning combo! It was a surprisingly short hike too! I was a little nervous my... More

We spent a week here and had fresh snow at the start and then some great weather for a few days. Small lines for the lift. Not as friendly for snowboarders on some of the runs but the mountain has plenty of options. The trail map says there are green runs but they are cat tracks and when people are... More

I've been here a couple of days now and, to be honest, the snow conditions have not been what I hoped. But that falls under "act of god", so I can't hold it against the resort. The terrain is pretty incredible, and a good mix from steep, wide intermediate groomers to more advanced terrain (steeper groomers, long bump runs). Short... More

We were planning on skiing just one day but it was such great skiing and so beautiful, it sucked us in for another day. Can't wait for tomorrow!

Can I say "it sucks" so no one else will go there? I want this mtn to myself. I actually had read almost nothing about it in the last few years other than that it has expanded its terrain. A friend had moved out here, so I came out to ski with him. This mountain is ginormous; the tree runs... More
