It was raining so we decided to stop by and check out the museum and ended up staying for about 45 minutes. It is located in the town center close to all the best restaurants and pubs. This small building is packed with many cool...More

The Revelstoke Museum is located in the old Post Office building, and has got nice archives and artifacts from the city since the mining and early railroad days. Skiing and avalanches feature prominently. I didn't realize how long skiing, including serious backcountry, had been a...More

If you are in Revelstoke - it's just off the Trans Canada highway #1 this is well worth the visit. Modest entry fee but well worth it. Great displays and one senses a high degree of civic pride in the museum and the town.

As a museum professional, I have visited many museums. The Revelstoke Museum is one of the best. Excellent exhibits and friendly, helpful staff. Keep up the good work. Always look forward to seeing what Cathy English and her team are doing next.

Very interesting museum right downtown. The building itself is heritage, and the exhibits are set up very well and some are "interactive" ie: an old kitchen that you can browse through. My 6 year old daughter and I loved it. As we are part time...More
