This is a pretty long drive to the top parking lot and even further to the top on the free shuttle. Along the way the weather can change rapidly. We were at the top parking lot just after a snowfall and the view was socked...More

I'm not sure what I can add that hasn't already been said about this place. I would recommend really good hiking boots and or a pole (for those of us on the +side of 60) and give yourself lots of time to explore the many...More

We had to hike the last km to the top because of snow. So worth it! Even though it was sunny/cloudy the views were good but the Forrest was magical. Also enjoyed the viewpoints and a couple walks

We arrived rather late at Revelstoke (around 3pm) but we decided to drive up to the summit. It’s a beautiful route which takes you past several nice viewpoints. On top of the mountain there’s a car parking after which you can continue on foot or...More

A long drive up with opportunities to stop at viewing areas. We all enjoyed the small hikes (not strenuous) and took in the beautiful views. Great information dotted around each of the trails. And a free shuttle to take you from the parking areas up...More

We tackled this road early in the morning to avoid the worst of the traffic and cars and whilst we missed most of the tourists we did have to contend with suicidal cyclists who felt they could use both sides of the road regardless of...More

This is a road inside of the National Park. You have to pay to get in. If there are 3 or more, it's cheaper to get the "whole car" rate. Ask for a map. There are a few turnouts on the way up with interpretive...More

This is different from the gondola. it is a winding mountain road that takes one by car to the top of the mountain.

I went in October and there were some flowers still in bloom. I'm not too sure about August.
