A great place to spend a couple hours. Fascinating displays and an amazing view from the top. The movie is interesting for a few minutes, but pretty dry unless you're really into dam construction. A few things here to entertain younger kids, but might be...More

Was traveling with my 17 year old daughter this summer and we took the short detour off the main highway to Revelstoke Dam. It was only 12.00 for both of us to tour the visitor information Center and go on the fast speed elevator ride...More

I have toured many dams so we skipped the tour but just driving up to the dam and walking around the parking lot was a real treat. A short ride for a very nice dam view.

Very much enjoyed the dam tour.... informative and interesting. Price is extremely reasonable! Tour guides and staff are knowledgeable and easy to understand. The outside tour portion is wonderful but not accessible to anyone who is in a wheelchair! Maybe Hydro can look at this...More

We visited the dam in the morning, spent about 1.5 hours, but we also did the guided tour which I highly recommend! The price is super cheap at $6 per adult and they offer a nice gift shop with a few items. The view from...More

We have often driven by the signs for the dam tours and pass right by. Finally decided to stop and check it out. Firstly we had no issues with security. They only needed one ID (drivers license) and it was no hassle (I am brown...More

Always passed by this site thinking it was a long drive. But the Dam is only 4 km off of the Trans Canada Highway. As you drive up to it, you will see just what an amazing engineering marvel it is. Guided or self guided...More

Very short drive off the main highway. Worth checking out and doesn't cost much money. We missed the dam tour though and just did a self guided.

You should check to see if you'll even be able to get to the parking lot. I don't think you will. They are pretty strict about security. With that said if you can get anywhere near it you may be amazed at how big it is but... More

I believe there are tours available, I've seen the groups walking around before with guides. There may also be a self guided tour available.
