We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This beach is right besides the ferry terminal and it is a nice place to hang out. We were there around 6 pm on a weekday and it is a happening place. The softball team was getting ready, the local musicians were playing, folks are fishing, kids are playing in the playground and some folks are fishing.
We spent an hour walking the beach and looking for beach glass.. It was peaceful...

So let's be straight off , the beach is not sandy but still nice and the sandbar at low tide is very nice. Excellent views of the harbour, parking for lots of cars, a play ground for the kids, great place to watch the ferries in and out of the harbour.

I was there in the early morning and the sun rises are very nice.

We were lucky to see the 3 sandbars at the beach. When the tide is low you can walk out to the first.Up to your knees. The sandbar is a little community unto itself. When a ferry boat sails by,you can almost reach out and touch it.Great war history also

On Wednesday August 14th my wife and I stopped for a few hours at the Indian Beach recreation area in North Sydney to wait for our 5:30 pm ferry to Argentia Newfoundland. We were there during mid afternoon to walk along the beach, to admire the scenery, the seabirds and to take some photos. There is ample parking, a play-ground, some covered picnic tables, park benches and public washrooms here but those were not opened that day. We could very well see the North Sydney Ferry from the park.

The beach is usually clean but the winter weather has reeked havok on the grounds. In the summer it should be cleaned up. Great swimming and walking along the shore line you can possibly find sand dollars and collect beach glass.Sometimes they have local talent in the summer evenings with an open canteen.

The beach is beautiful! With sand, sea glass, sand dollars and a new play equipment for the kids! There is bathrooms, place to watch ball games or if the field is open to have a game yourselves. Kept clean from garbage and safe for the kids to play !

Great venue; day or night. Loads of parking, very accessible, great sandy beach, playground, and a million dollar view of the harbour.

We visit North Sydney every time we visit the island.
This was the first time we stopped by where found found they were playing live music and they play live music every night. I assume during inclement weather there is no music.
The parking lot was full, the playground was busy and there were a couple people fishing off the warf. We picked sea glass and enjoyed the music and weather. Was a great evening with our kids.
