We dropped in here while hubby napped from a long plane ride and because it was across the street from our hotel. Very nice and well laid out. Guide was very informative but also left us alone to look at all the items on display. Well done!

Great time..short visit. A look back in time. Interesting items to look at and try to figure out what they were used for

I loved the museum as it shows how they went to school many years ago. They also show the fact that the teachers where stricter back then not like todays practices

I learned quite a bit about schoolhouse life from this little museum. It's interesting to see the social changes in how we view a teachers position theses days. I love history and this museum has some interesting stories to share. Good place to take kids so they can see the difference in "then and now", without it being too big,... More

Fantastic! There is so much to see. And, in the basement, are all the old school textbooks from back in the 50's. I could have stayed there for hours and hours.

We stopped in at this Schoolhouse Museum and they happened to have an event going on, which was very nice. They had ice cream cones for 5 cents and inside a woman was making ice cream the old fashioned way and had visitors helping. The items inside the Schoolhouse were very interesting and it was done very well to get... More

My husband and I along with our daughters, aged 3 and 5 stopped to visit the little white school house on the afternoon of July 30th. We walked into the one room school house and had approximately 2 minutes to view all of the interesting antiques and artifacts before leaving with a scared and crying child. My daughter is beginning... More

Well presented, the curator could answer any questions you might have about the one room school houses, easy to find, was good for the kids and as far as museums go, it is just the right size to take children to because it is not too large and your visit can be complete in a half hour to hour easily!...
