Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I went to pickup beer today and what a terrible experience. I went to both sawdust city and Muskoka brewery, and sawdust city was a seamless compared to Muskoka brewery. Ended up leaving with nothing.
I was passing by and decided to stop to pick up a pack of the new Muskoka spirits beverages. Called in from the pickup spot and was told I had to order online an hour in advance for a small pack. I said I could pay over the phone now. Was told no there’s no way. There was one other car picking up, clearly they weren’t overwhelmed with business. The woman on the phone was not friendly or helpful.
Before that I had gone to sawdust city and they were so easy and accommodating. Went in, everything is blocked off and you call your order to the staff. They pack it up and tap pay and go. No contact, very safe, and easy for everyone. And they were friendly!
The contrast in service was astounding. Guess that’s the difference between the big guys and the small local ones.

We have been fans of Muskoka Breweries beers for years but our first (and sadly last) visit to the brewery was a major disappointment. We knew that their snack menu is limited but when we ordered a charcuterie board we expected more that just salami and crackers with a garnish of olives, cherry tomatoes and 2 pickle slices. Admittedly the waitress apologized for the lack of cheese (some sort of ordering problems) and gave us a $2 discount but ......... not a positive experience. Will not be returning and not with our out of town friends who are always looking for that special outing with us (and typically spent a fair amount of $ shopping local).

Three informative, daily tours of the facility offered daily...last tour @2:30pm.
Tasting bar has six taps hosted by friendly staff.
Sunny patio in front offers easy drinking/tasting in clusters of Muskoka chairs...around a fire pit...perfect.
As usual, some brews available only at the brewery...so stock up.
$3 mini tasting glasses with Muskoka Brewery Logo are available to purchase to impress your friends at home for your tasting party.

While trying to avoid the highway between Bracebridge and Gravenhurst we came upon the Muskoka Brewery.
Like all good Canadians on a hot day, we felt it necessary to have a cold beer.
Their staff were super friendly and allow their guests to sample many different types of product. While I had a Lager my wife tried something with more of a kick/body (Harvest Ale). Great thing about free samples is you'll find something right for your taste.
We were able to enjoy our tasty cold drinks on their cute front patio with many other good Canadians and tourists alike.
We will return!
PS. Dog friendly.

Not wait to get to the patio, quick service, good recommendations and a large pretzel, what can a gal ask ? We could not see the inside, just the patio.
Beer was tasty, as was their vodka seltzer.
The gift shop was open, with unique finds.

Visited the Muskoka Brewery for the first time. I recommend signing up for a tour, it was really cool to learn about their process and history. Jaden our tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. The bar/gift shop area has a lot of Muskoka Brewery merchandise for sale as well as a lot of different beers for purchase. If you’re in the area I recommend making the visit.
