Totally unique experience. The snow was very hard packed so it was a tough run but everyone made it safely. Know that the driver must be heavy enough to make the break work, my wife's 125lbs was just barely enough to hold the excited dogs back. It can be a bit expensive for a family outing but really enjoyed it.... More

Went up to Huntsville for a girls weekend and the highlight was definitely dog-sledding at North Ridge Ranch! Great guides, great dogs and great scenery. It's clear that Brad and Leah take great care of their dogs and pride in what they do. We were given clear and awesome instructions that helped us feel both safe and fully capable out... More

Amazing time today going dogsledding at North Ridge Ranch! The dogs were really well looked after and so well behaved. Brad was very helpful in letting us know how to ride and drive the sleds. He was also very understanding and helpful when my husband landed me in the ditch (by mistake!) and helped us get our sled back on... More

The half day adventure was just enough time to get a taste of dg sledding. Brad is serious about the safety of his dogs and of all participants. Come prepared to pay attention , follow rules and have fun. Lovely scenery and terrain to travel. Dogs are well cared for and have good temperaments. A well run operation. We would... More

Visited with family . 2 sleds . Dogsled recently at windrift kennels in Orillia. Wanted a different experience with more dogs. We had 4 dogs for 2 people ( total weight 350 lbs) at Windrift kennels. This time we had 5 dogs like the others. Still , we were barely moving. The passenger weighed more than the driver but still... More

This was a really great experience. The trail is a beautiful long stretch of back winter woods. You can tell that the owners care a lot about their working dogs. They are very well taken care of. I have seen some reviews questioning Brad, but he is great. There is a mutual respect between him and his dogs. I must... More

This was such an exhilarating experience! Lots of snow covered, meandering wilderness trail. Amazing and well cared for dogs! Wonderful owners! Leah and Brad were very professional, relaxed, and pleasant. Brad is a wealth of knowledge of all things dog sledding and of the syrrounding wilderness. Leah's years of experience are obvious as well. Together, with their amazing dogs, they... More

Planned a half day tour for my 14 year old son and myself as a mother/son memory making trip and then talked my son's best friend and mom into joining us. We cannot stop talking about it - it was incredible. Leah and Brad were welcoming and professional. The sledding was a little more involved than we expected - but... More
