There are some original floor boards in what used to be the bar of the original hotel, plus one original bar table with two original chairs. Walker House was completely restored by volunteers, which is an amazing show of workmanship by the citizens of... More

great service and awesome location to see some history! The students working were very helpful and knowledgeable about the time period. Great time. We had a rehearsal dinner here as well and everything was set up wonderfully.

This is her summer job while taking history at Ottawa U. She brought the Walker House alive for me. I strongly recommend that anyone who... More

The Walker house has an amazing collection of local artifacts and has great displays. If you are in Kincardine, don't miss it. The admission cost is low and you'll appreciate the time and effort that has gone into preserving this gem of a local hotel and boarding house. At certain times of the year there are other functions held and... More

This was across from our accommodations - and accepted donations for entrance fee. The staff who seemed to be high school students were attentive and were excellent tour guides.

Very informative tour of the building and the towns history. The tour guide did an excellent job of presenting the history of the town. Very approachable and answered all the questions that were asked of her.
