I always make a point of going to whatever performance is on then I visit. This is a wonderfully talented orchestra, and they have had some imaginative shows over the years. Most recently, they featured Cirque de la Symphonie, with an acrobatic troupe performing astounding...More

Kurt Browning put on quite a show with the Kichener-Waterloo Symphony. A night of jokes, some funnier than others, light hearted banter that went along with light hearted music. A combination of Browning on roller blades and video footage made for a remarkable evening.

Denzel Sinclaire was the guest artist with KWSO tonight, what a smooth, mellow voice; his renditions of Nat King Cole's best known hits, Unforgettable, Smile, Love, made me teary eyed. What a fabulous entertainer, in a great concert hall.

Went and saw the Symphony with 4 guest vocalists. Sound was incredible. Such a wonderful venue. The Centre In The Square needs to advertise the Symphony more. Also lower the price. There were 400 people attending out of 2000 seats. $24.00 disqualifies so many families...More

KW is so lucky to have this fantastic symphony. Talented professionals that make great music and whether performing at Center in the Square or smaller satellite venues. We have a season subscription. Excellent value for the price and a wonderful evening of music.

They are a great orchestra. Their usual venue - Centre in the Square - is fantastic. On the main floor, other than distance from stage, there are no bad seats, with great acoustics. The symphony offers both pops series and classical. At times, you can...More

Superb orchestra playing a diverse mix of music. Mainly classical. They perform in easily one of the best concert halls in Ontario. Soloists are well chosen and a half hour talk before the concert is always very informative and adds to the pleasure of the...More

When it comes to quality orchestral music, bigger is not always better. Compared to the size of big time Canadian orchestra's (TSO, MSO) , KWSO is definitely size challenged. However, in the area of quality of sound, it's an orchestra that bows, bangs, strums and...More
