We drove an hour to attend the museum, on a Saturday, to wrap up March break. The museum promotes itself as hands-on for children but most displays were hands-off and closed. Several promoted exhibits and activities were closed (or happened in a 15 minute window) and when we inquired when they would be open, we were told to buy a... More

A great place to take younger kids for a day trip during March Break especially if they are interested in dinosaurs.

It is better to check ahead if headed here to see which exhibits are on. We got to see a decent traveling exhibit from Canada about quantum computing and another (I think it was from the Field Museum) about natural disasters. That said, the remainder of the museum is just edutainment for the kids, and on the wrong day it... More

I hadn't been to The Museum in years and wanted to check it out again. So a friend and I went for an afternoon to check it out, and their current Forces of Nature exhibit did seem appealing. Unfortunately right off the bat it was disappointing. There were younger children running wild everywhere, running in front of you and taking... More

- Visited once with children - Not a lot of good games, yet the entrance was expensive even after discount for a special weekend.

The Museum is a location that I have visited in the past for school trips as well as for fun with my family and I have always had fond memories of interesting exhibits and fun activities. Unfortunately, the most recent visit to The Museum with a friend was quite disappointing. Before visiting, we went online and found it quite difficult... More

Activities, instruments and toys are similar to what you see in community centers, with some exceptions. However, it is very expensive even after family discount. Take your children to less expensive or even free museums, like U of W, and for the play part there are many other places with much more to do with less to pay.

I had a high expectation before I visit THE MUSEUM. The website is user-friendly. I had no troubles of finding the operating hours and costs of the tickets. It would be awesome if the tickets are available to purchased online. Since the regular cost of the ticket $11.95 plus tax is relatively expensive, special price on Wednesdays may be the... More

TheMuseum is a destination that provides a diverse range of attractions and activities that are suitable for people of all age groups. The marketing initiatives through social media outlets (e.g. promotional videos on Facebook) made this destination more prominent compared to other destinations in the area. The ease of navigation on their website (i.e. current events, museum hours, maps, admission)... More

Upon visiting the website for The Museum I had an easy time navigating through the website, with no difficulty finding the location, hours of operation, prices, as well as current and past exhibitions. I also had a good understanding of what kind of activities to expect, all thoroughly displayed on the website. Also for individuals that are not from the... More
