A great place to take a nice quiet walk with the family. Lots to see and a park for the children to visit. There are even Beavers in the river running into the lake.

This is a pleasant surprise in the city of Newmarket. A pretty paved walking trail just off Main Street, great location for a walk after dinner .

We had a meetup event of about 20 people. We walked around the entire lake and park. It was really pretty and well kept. Clean park and friendly people. I would recommend this to anyone looking for fresh air and a little exercise

Instead of going on the treadmill I like to walk around Fairy Lake, there is parking available and the trails are wide enough for a partner. Great to see the birds, water, trees or playground. There are a few options to make it more Interesting....More

We go hear to Fairy Lake frequently for social walks. It's easy. Lots of bikes and dogs. Lovely in the summer and fall.

I love the pathway and bridge in Fairly Lake. We also enjoy the picnic area and gazebo. My grandchildren love the park. I find it to be very relaxing and clean. Such an improvement from when I was a child.

This is part of a long network for walking and relaxing, and getting away from the every day pressures of life. While you're at it, stop in Newmarket and go on Main street for a coffee, tea or nice meal. Enjoy!

Fairy Lake is in the middle of downtown Newmarket and is a popular place for locals and visitors alike. There is plenty of parking and space to gather and enjoy the park I prefer summer but winter is equally as nice there.

The best place to take a walk, chat with people, look for an eatery, walk the dog, biking. The only bad side is the dirt on the lake (because the birds live there). Although it is uncomfortable to get the smell, it is still tolerable....More

A beautiful park, great water feature, bike trail which goes for many kilometres on either direction. It really completes the old Newmarket appeal creating a day/half-day long destination. The main issue are the geese and their waste. Make sure you have something to clean your...More

The whole pathway that runs through Fairy Lake - (which is actually called the Tom Taylor Trail) is just over 16km in total. The "hills" on the path are very minimal.
