Today we purchased soaps, lip balm, chicken, focaccia bread, and rice balls. All grown or made by local artisans. We live locally but if you do not please make a point of attending this market if you are in the Owen Sound area. This market is open Year round. Every Saturday morning.

I've been to the market and every time I go I always leave with great produce and locally made items. If you love supporting local businesses then you'll love the farmers market.

So glad that whenever we moved it was within an hour of this market. In the past year or two it has improved steadily. Harvest time is the best of course, for all the wonderful veggies and fruits. But all year long I love Howell's fish, the brownies from Dale's Baking, and best of all Fran's foccacia, with the cheese... More

Only open once a week on Saturdays, this farmers market is one that you can go to each week and find something different. It's a small market with local vendors selling local products. Lots of different fruits and vegetables as well as other non-food items.

The building is quite old and worth seeing. The vendors tend to be a bit pricey; I recall see a $2 butter tart once. The quality is high, though. Keep an eye for an "Art Crawl". Various craftspeople, ranging from "found item" welders to traditional spinners and weavers as well as musicians, "do their thing" in the covered area outside... More
