We really like microbrews and make a point of honor to sample some everywhere we travel. Kilannan is not a bar but rather directly where the beer is brewed so we can taste (1$ for 5 oz) and carry. Growlers are available, otherwise you have...More

This is a small operation so you may have to go back for your favorites. They are German trained so they can replicate the German taste.

Very humble outside appearance. ( in back of a bakery, looks like it is run out of a garage). Once you get past that- a real treat! Show room is minimalistic too, but a wide variety of samples , and wow; some are really good....More

Stopped here to get some German style beers. Unfortunately they were limited in the choices as the beers are not quite ready. They will be ready for the summer rush though. The owner is very nice and we chatted about German style beers. We tasted...More

Had an opportunity to have a tasting with the owner/brew master. All beers were good they do more lagers that were refreshing from the other breweries who do more IPA. We look forward to going back to refill our growler.

This summer we have started filling our growlers here. The Aussie is a nice hoppy ale that almost borders on IPA territory and it's delicious. The Brewmaster and staff are kind and don't mind answering a million questions from curious tourists. It's a simple front...More

This brewery can't keep up with the demand for their amazing stuff. Can't wait for their new batch of "Men who stare at oats" and the Alt. I am now force to look for a keg fridge. ;P

Alt if a wonderful craft beer to enjoy on a hot weekend day. It is among the best available in Ontario. I find it goes particularly well with spicy food. There are more varieties on offer, so stop by to sample. If you love craft...More
