Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Of the local waterfalls near Owen Sound, this is the most accessible. A short walk from the parking lot and you are essentially right there. It is a very pretty falls and there are walkways that give you two distinct views. There is also an interpretive centre but it was closed when we got there.
Parking is apparently $10, but if you go off-season there is no attendant on duty and since you pay using an online application, the parking is essentially free.
A good place if you are going with someone with limited mobility who likes waterfalls.

The Inglis falls are probably one of the best falls in the Grey county area. Parking cost is 10 CAD. Visiting to the base of the falls is not allowed anymore. The falls are amazing. There is a way where you can get from the side of the road and get to see the falls. Don't need to go inside and park, can park outside and there is a way to get to the falls.

I’ve been to a couple conservation areas and this one is in the top. There is a 7km trail that will take you beyond the falls or, If you come in from the “conservation building” you can hike 3km into the falls. Most people went “inglis fall road” which takes you directly to the falls. We hiked the trail and it was lovely.

We hiked from Harrison Park which is free. It's a large beautiful park with camping. It is tricky to find the starting point - park the car in the main area facing the restaurant/washroom, walk to the right toward the camping area to the end: sign for Inglis Falls. It isn't well marked & we mistakenly took the longer uphill trail -90mins; they are many. It's a 40 minute hike one way - 2.5kms. Follow the blue trailmarkers & at the Inglis Falls Areboretum sign turn left (We took the other longer path). The blue markers become white & red. It a beautiful hike with some rocky & tree roots protruding. One needs sturdy shoes/Hiking boots.

The waterfalls are beautiful but they charge you $10.00 for parking. It takes a total of 10 minutes to walk the path to see the falls, take the pictures and walk back to the car. $10.00 for 10 minutes. That just seems excessive .

A group of 5 ladies decided to take a hike through the Bruce Trail to see Inglis Falls. The hike can be very challenging if you have issues with walking though a steep, bumpy forest like setting but the view of the falls up top is so beautiful. A photographers paradise!

Parking is $6. You can have a picnic on the grounds by the water. The waterfalls are a 2 or 3 minute walk from the parking lot and there are other hiking trails that continue on past the falls. We stopped in to take a break while driving. Falls are beautiful.

We took the opportunity to visit Inglis falls when we were staying at Harrison Park.
The Falls is just down the road from the park so it was easy to get to.
The Falls and the lookout points are amazing, the beauty of the this site is simply overwhelming.
There’s lots of parking and the whole area is neat, clean and well maintained.

It was a beautiful place and the falls is beautiful, truly a hidden gem. My husband and I just stood and watched the water falls. Very relaxing. The only problem I had was the washrooms very disgusting. The cost was only $10.00 for parking. Not a terrible price to pay, especially if you are planning on walking the trails or having a picnic there.

Inglis Falls is beautiful any time of the year. But we went in January to see the ice formations and they were beautiful as well. Situated on the Bruce Trail, there are several trails you can take but if you just want to see the falls, simply step out of your car. One of the trails can be followed down the escarpment (Niagara Escarpment) all the way to Harrison Park, a nice hike.

Do you have to book a parking reservation in advance?

They were last year. Just make sure you have bags...no one likes stepping in poop :)

is there a parking loot for this? is there a parking or entry fee? what is the hike like to the falls? any + all info is appreciated!
Written 16 April 2020
Yes there was a parking fee. Once a person at a gate and another was on the honor system. But free parking out on the street and its a very short walk in. Actually you can see Inglis Falls without any hike. I am disabled so I need easy paths. There are beautiful easy paths and my daughter said hikes to the other falls weren challenging but doable. Not sure if the park is open during the COVID issue. Park on the street and hike in :)

We used to be able to get to the bottom of the falls partway through a hole in the wall path on the left side. It appears to have been blocked off. Can you tell me why and if there is other access along the Bruce Trail?
Written 17 August 2018
If it is not safe, why take the chance, you not only put your self at risk also the people who have to rescue you.
Because of so many people had to be rescued in the Hamilton area from the waterfalls, they have now fenced off some of those falls and people can't see or get close to the falls any longer.
So some people spoil it for others.
Play safe.
