We spent an afternoon at the museum. It was very interesting to see the history of people living in the area and its economy over time through actual buildings, furniture, and various artifacts from times gone by.

A wonderful little museum with some great exhibits. They also have a pioneer village with host/hostesses who were very interactive and informative. Very enjoyable experience and all for a great price. My family loved it!

The main museum part is very informative and, at times, quite surprising... especially the part about the history of black people in the area. But the best part of the experience is the historical village out behind the main museum building. The various pioneer houses,...More

It was well worth going to this museum. Interesting local history, and they had a Lego exhibit on when we went. The only thing I didn't realize was that the attached pioneer village is not open until later in June.
