In PowerPoint presentation, the voice of speaker through PA system was unclear. Those sitting at back rows have difficulty to see the text and diagrammes.

The Park is located off of 16th Ave and is separated from the Observatory by a fence. Its kind of hidden behind the Elvis Stojko Arena but its an interesting quiet and "hidden" place. The park has model of the solar system and its quite...More

Unfortunately the observatory has sat empty since last August while we wait for the town of Richmond Hill to make decisions on its future operations. Please consider providing a review when the site is operational.

It was a most interesting visit. We got to see the vacuum chamber used to re-coat the mirror and behind the scenes on how they get equipment up and down. We also visited the library and the workshop. All in all a great tour of...More

Nice and educated staff will take time to explain and guide you. Bring kids if they can be quiet for 1 hour or so.

I think they only do special nights like meteor showers and such. Well they used to. Haven't seen them open in a long time. It's such a shame.
