This is a great park for every one wishing to get in touch with nature . There are water attractions for the kids along with a small animal Sanctuary, and is close to sport fields and has lots of picnic areas. Bring a picnic or buy your food from the park's take-out. It's all fun and all good.

Beautiful park. Streams, paths, animals and more to see. Hidden gem in the heart of Waterloo. Lights up well in the winter too.

Free and easy to get too. Awesome place in town and nice to see animals in summer. I do recommend when you walk, to watch your step because place is covered in geese poop. Prob only downfall of park.

This is a walking paradise. Listen to the sounds of birds while strolling slowly along the pathways of this park while waiting for a magnificent sunset.

I've been to this park many times with family and significant others before and have always had a great time. They have a bit of everything there, a nice river view, animal park, kids jungle gym, a snack bar, and in the winter they have great Christmas light displays. Definitely a good location to come to if you're in need... More

We were at the park as a family with our grandson. It was a lovely walking around exploring and seeing the animals and playing on all the playground equipment.

We had fun exploring the Waterloo Park. We went through every dirt road and enjoyed it! That way I saw quite a lot of flowers! There seems to be a beaver in this park. I saw a barrage in the river. It’s here that the first schoolhouse was erected in 1820. The school structure still exists. There was a plaque... More

My partner and I decided that we wanted to get outside and go for a walk for our assignment, so we assumed that walking around Silver Lake would be a good choice for us. We were right, considering we had a fun but relaxing stroll through the park. The website on which we were choosing our destination was very easy... More
