Great but not much English

We took our granddaughter there for a visit and she just loved it but wished there were more people who spoke English or at least the write up and pamphlets could be. I spent half... read more

Gives a very good perspective of what was life in the past with lots of actors and demonstration of numerous tasks of the time. Can easily spend a full day and not see everything. The Village is accessible directly from the neighbouring CEPAC Campground.

We took our granddaughter there for a visit and she just loved it but wished there were more people who spoke English or at least the write up and pamphlets could be. I spent half my day translating. Still had a great time.

Awful in every possible way: Rundown place, extremly expensive for what you get, terrible comedians, no entertainers shows whatsoever, shameful facilities (have seen better rest rooms in middle-of-nowhere gas stations). All in all, I want my 85$ and one hour of my life back!. Avoid this please, You will thank me later...

Overnited. Walked the river. Saw the church. Visited to this ambitious undertaking. But not even a piece of paper offered to translate anything into English. Come on. USA is a few miles away, what's with that? I guess no business is needed from other than Quebecers. Maybe that's the point.

If you have an interest in the yesteryear, this is well worth a visit. They have a children's section and a water play area that we skipped but still spent 4 hours visiting all the fully furnished buildings and talking to the costumed attendants. Be on the lookout for "James The Patent Medicine Peddler", a charming young man who will... More

It was a lot fun. For adults and kids. Nice music with the dinner. Probably will back in the summer time

Went with my parents and our relatives who were visiting from Europe (but are non-french-speaking). Tried in my best basic french to get some explanations of the activities from assorted employees, but not a single one would deign to utter a word in English so that our guests might understand the village and enjoy their time there. What a pity.... More

If you are interested in having a look back in time into the french Canadian architecture, you will have a good time. You will see the various type of houses, churches, stores, etc. and there is a treasury hunt like games for children to will keep them interested in going around the village. I believe there is also a water... More
