With three levels of difficulty this hike doesn't disappoint. You can access from above through the bouldering patch, or below from two separate entrances- one difficult one easy. The below difficult route has a water fall view point but can be quite challenging for some. The easy route is a quad like path through the forest. I usually take this... More

Nice park-like setting, flat walk very simple. There was a nice path through the woods that offered beautiful views. Very windy- dress warm.

A simple and easy hike to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. Great for a couple or family.

Drive to Grassi Lakes is very tough. It is most challenging when there is rain. I definitely not recommend to go in snow for sure. Go when there is Sunny out there. When you reach finally to lake it is most beautiful thing you can see. Enjoyed it very much.

This is a gorgeous view, and the hike was not bad, and I'm an avid hiker. The lake was beautiful and definitely was a great view.

Beautiful short hike just minutes from downtown Canmore. Two ways up, a wide fairly flat path that is suitable for strollers and a more exciting narrow path with amazing views of the town, the valley and an awesome little waterfall. Once at the top you will be blown away by the color and clarity of the two small lakes. You... More

The hard way up has absolutely amazing views but it can nerve wracking for little children. There were a number of streams running across the trail making it slippery and the end is very, very step. The easy way is wide and enjoyable to walk. The lakes are spectacular!

This is a great starter hike for families and people who want a little hike without all the prep. A "more difficult" side and and easy stroll up the road if you don't want that challenge.
