Drive east of Osoyoos on Highway 3 and you climb up some switchbacks -- more challenging when you are passing 18-wheeler trucks. There is a viewpoint for cars in either direction/laneway of Highway 3, the lookout for the lane heading into Osoyoos is further up...More

This drive can seem scary, but if you drive in control and go slow it isn't bad at all. I would continue up to the top where the neighbourhoods are marked with different animal statues. Great for pictures. Sasquatch, cougar, ect.

I could sit here all day, looking out at osoyoos and the lakes. Great highway for motorbikes too, some really nice bends to get low and enjoy

We went to this lookout at dusk and it was light enough to see the entire area including the US. Not that far out of town and worth the effort.

Only a short drive from downtown Osoyoos, but what a view. Easy parking, too, right off the highway. Bring a camera.

Yes. There's a different pullout and viewing area when you're heading into town (travelling west). Just pull over when the sign tells you to. Don't miss it. You can't access the eastbound (uphill) pullout from the westbound... More

Take Highway 3 heading east out of Osoyoos at lake level. The highway switch backs its way up and the view point is on a pull out as you reach the top. the drive up is 15 minutes.
