Lake osoyoos is very unique in many ways. It is a large lake, not as big as chelan but better in many ways in my opinion. As many have stated, it warms up nicely due to the shore areas being shallow pretty far out and...More

The beach/lake At Osoyoos Lake is very clean, friendly and beautifully laid out. Water sports are unfortunately on the other side of the lake so you have to travel to get the watercrafts which is a little inconvenient but doesn't tarnish the overall experience. Just...More

We first enjoyed the Cherry Festive Parade on Canada Day. Then we made our way to the beach area of Osoyoos Lake, and spent the rest of the day swimming and relaxing in the sun. We bbq'd our dinner while waiting for the fireworks to...More

This Beautiful lake is in both Canada and Washington state. It invites many water sports but the lake never seems to be overwhelmed by boats. There's sandy beaches in many areas and a number of places to access and visit this oasis in the desert....More

The lake at Osoyoos is quite a bit larger than one expects, even when you've seen it marked on the map. The lake was quite full and the water clear when we visited, and it wasn't quite summer yet, so the water was mostly undisturbed...More

The lake is beautiful and the public beaches are clean and well maintained. We rented a pontoon boat, toured the shoreline and swam in different areas. We were there for Canada Day and the celebrations were fun and the fireworks display was inspirational.

It's very beautiful looking out over the lake. We always like staying at the Walnut Beach Resort which is right on the lake.

It was interesting to see people fixing up sand bags, as the high water at the lake is causing flooding due to the spring rains. Because of Haynes point, the water toward the north was rather calm, whereas the water on the south end looked...More

Sun Beach Motel is right on the water and is one of the only motels with a dock. It is also the only one that faces south. The rest face north onto the lake or to the east.
