Nice warm clean lake. The beach along the hotel strip is wide and clean. Lake bottom is sandy and amazingly rock free. Very gradual depth increase from shore. A nice lake for kids, at least along the hotel strip. Brochure claims it is one of the warmest lakes in Canada. I am told the lake contains bass for those who... More

The water is warm in the summer. We sea-doo'd and paddle boarded. We went down to Gyro Beach on a Saturday afternoon and the beach wasn't busy at all. It was simply perfect.

This lake is amazing! It is so warm with sandy beaches and very shallow, you can walk out for a long distance and still only be waist deep. Very clean, clear water, great for swimming and water sports.

Amazing. How can you go wrong with amazing views?! Sandy beaches cooler water for the hot days. Beautiful sunsets. Saw some fish close to shore not sure what it was but it was around every morning.

We had a wonderful time on the lake in Osooyos. There were plenty of shady spots to sit and a safe place for the the little ones to paddle in. The salads from the cafe were great too. And the view is incredible.

Very pleasant with warm water (for Canada) and relatively little boat traffic. Wind not bad. Water is not especially clear and the bottom is murky but no skin or other problems after going in.

Nice lake, good for water sports and fairly warm. Since this lake crosses into USA you only have half the lake to use, unless you check in with the border patrol which is time consuming.

Lovely, peaceful lake in Osoyoos, with gentle, small beaches, many shaded with trees. Great for an afternoon relaxing in a camp chair or having a picnic.

This lake is good for all ages. The water is warm, shallow, clean, quiet waters. There's even a mini-park (Veterans Park) nearby.

It's a Great Lake to play in with kids, shallow, warm and calm. We come here yearly with 3 kids and always look forward to coming back. It's relatively clean too, although okanagan lake is cleaner. Great place to bring a boat or pontoon too!

Thank Dave W
