Osoyoos lake is a beautiful fresh-water lake with beautiful surrounding scenery. Although it is often windy with white-caps, there are also days with calm serene water perfect for going out in your kayak.

Coming from the east after being diverted due to wildfires, I ended up at Osoyoos and stopped for a rest before driving on to Kelowna. As I came over the ridge and got my first look at Osoyoos and it's lake, it was as pretty...More

We enjoyed being camped at two different campgrounds near the lake... it's absolutely beautiful! Of course we were only visiting in September, so it was also very peaceful on the water, but the water was still pleasantly warm to swim in it.

We were lucky to swim in the Lake as our motel was directly on the Beach so had access to the floating pier, floaties, etc. The water was clean and not too cool -- you get used to it once in and you can enjoy...More

This is a small quiet town - more bustling in the spring/summer. Lots of beach areas, walking trails and bike paths.

The wife and I paddled out from Cottonwood Park to Lion's Park. It's probably true, the lake might well be Canada's warmest. It's lovely. And the surrounding mountain views make it well worth it. Some knuckle-draggers on seadoos kept zipping around on what was possibly/probably...More

Stopped to cool off, Great Lake and wasn't too busy. We had a nice picnic at one of the picnic tables.

This is a great lake located in the downtown area. Recommend to everyone to take a little time for a quick stroll along the waters edge. Parking is free, so you can enjoy the sites & sounds. It was a hot time of the year.

Sun Beach Motel is right on the water and is one of the only motels with a dock. It is also the only one that faces south. The rest face north onto the lake or to the east.
