This visit was the most informative and interesting part of our vacation out West. I learned more in two hours than in all of my previous limited education. This story should be somehow told to ALL Canadiens right across Canada. I'll be back!

We went to visit mid week. The buildings and theaters are beautiful. Unfortunately due to snow and ice we were unable to do most of the outside activities. Obviously there were no outside shows this time of year but we knew that before going in. The two movies we saw were informative about the local culture. would love to come... More

We enjoyed the cultural centre on a quiet day. The manager spent so much time with us and gave us his own life experiences. Very enlightening. Really enjoyed the whole cultural centre! Thank you

It was very quiet in October. Derek? the manager was very friendly and informative. The rammed earth building is spectacular. They have two videos and lots of reading to keep you bust for about an hour. The weather was a sunny 12 degs so we did the full loop walking trail for about an hour...reading all the aboriginal history, plant... More

We are super happy that you had an excellent experience especially during the slower months when the heat isn't as prominent as it is in the summertime. It is always a pleasure to share our history and culture with you and with everyone. Taking the trail at that time of year does showcase the desert in a different light, and... More

While there are many inside displays, we arrived late in the day and spent our time on the outdoor tour through the desert accessed through the Cultural Centre. Many displays of life as it was, also of plants, insects and animals, and replicas of lodgings. Very informative and interesting. It made me realise how little of the desert habitat remains... More

Lim Limt (thank you) for your kind words regarding the desert and all the inhabitants within it. To say there is a decline in knowledge about the Okanagan desert is very accurate. We hope to educate and inform all our guests about our precious desert and again, thank you. More

Wey' (hello) and thank you for your review. The fall months can be one of two things; either very quiet, or 'just right'. We are glad you took the time to check us out and we are glad you learned about the culture and history here. Lim Limt (thank you) More
