Stopped here on our way to Grouse Mountain for a quick walk. Lots of dogs. Great view of snowcapped mountains in the distance. Great but very fast.

It was just a dam, but there are some nice trails. One trail will take you all the way to Capilano bridge. I didn't know about the trails prior to arriving at the dam. I may return to hike the trails in the spring time.

We enjoyed the view of the snow capped mountains and walking trails as we crossed the dam. Dog friendly off leash trails too being enjoyed by the locals. Free parking, not that busy on a statutory holiday that is relaxing and peaceful and pleasantly not crowded.

Love coming here on a summer morning for a walk in the forest or around Capilano River. A variety of pathways with good surfacing but expect hills...this is not a flat walk. Views of the lake and the dam is nice and one can get to restaurants and shops in a few minutes.

Very beautiful views over the dam and also along the water and trails on each side and can walk across the Dam and take trails to the fish hatchery and cross over and than also do a loop around and come back up to the Dam, usually able to get parking but that might have changed since the construction work... Beautiful views, great hike down to the salmon hatchery, bbq's and picnic benches-- great family picnic site. Bring a frisbee hike down to the hatchery, stop in at iHenry's Variety Store for ice cream or drinks. This is a great spot to chill.

The Dam is beautiful, the mountains at the back of the scenery look like they are out of a painting.

If you want a marvelous view of The Lions mountains, go to Cleveland Dam. There is a walkway across the top of the dam that can provide a view of the water tumbling, or roaring, over the dam from the water reservoir into the Capilano Canyon. There are trails on the west side of the park, in fact, it is... More

This is a beautiful place and there are often film crews at work here. There's a parking lot if you're driving, and a huge grassland where you can sit and chat and rest. You can walk a bit to see the dam and the Capilano reservoir. There's a hiking trail that connects to the Capilano Salmon Hatchery if you're willing... More
