After visiting Capilano Suspension Bridge, we were recommended this lovely place to visit by a lady at the park. There are some stunning views of the mountains and lake just seconds from the car park, and lovely walks through the woods down to the fish...More

Pass the madness of Capilano Suspension Bridge and you'll find Cleveland Dam on the same side of the street. It's free and so beautiful. I loved how calm the water was on the right and then how violently it fell on the left.

There is nothing really spectacular about the dam. What makes it special is tge surrounding view which is very pretty. Worth a visit if time permits.

This dam is set at one end of Cleveland Park and can be reached by bus or a 2 kilometre walk through forest from the Capilano Suspension Bridge. The dam is set with a stunning backdrop and in clear calm weather has a mirror like...More

Dropped by here on our way back from Grouse Mountain. The reservoir/lake and park are beautiful but the flow of water over the dam to the gorge below is immense!! Definitely worth a look if you are in the area.

It was a surprise to see the dam and the surrounding park. It's a beautiful space for hiking, picnicking and hanging out. There's a hatchery and washrooms available.

We always go hiking here. The views are great and the game is quite easy. I would recommend hiking boots and would suggest that you are moderately fit. This would not be good if you are unsteady and can't climb stairs

The dam, drinking water supply of Vancouver, itself is interesting. On rainy days you have the water being released and the dam is more impressive. What is even nicer is the path to walk around just by the damn in the nature which remains the...More

Just a 20 minute trip for downtown. Drive past the Capilano bridge, up the mountain for another 4 minutes. There is a park with a great view of the lake. Easy hike along the river. Stop and view the salmon hatchery. Many great views.

There is no construction on the dam, nor the park beside it. . . There might be some road work on the road that goes up to it, but it will allow traffic thru because it goes to major tourist attractions . . . well worth any... More

I believe there are some bus stops but I too had a rental car, it's literally 4 minutes from the bridge, but what a sight. I think a taxi can take you there, it's truly on the same road 4-5 minutes
