I was delighted to hike Dog Mountain for the first time, but definitely not the last time. The walk took just under 2 hours round trip, with some rest and photo opportunities at the peak. We arrived to bright blue skies and glazing sunshine when...More

We hiked up to Mount Seymour on a sunny day with excellent visibility, which added greatly to the experience. The rocky and sometimes rooty trail ascends pleasingly through beautiful forest and past little lakes. Atop first peak, second peak and the Mount Seymour summit the...More

You can do great hiking in the summers months, @ Mount Seymour, and there is still some snow on the ground in June/July. In the winter, it becomes, the Vancouver ski slopes, for the locals.

There are many hiking trails on the top of Mount Seymour that are quite easy in terms of terrain. This is a great way to spend several hours on a sunny day.

Easy driving up to the ski resort. Park at the end at the last ski lift. Hike up is moderate but steep at times. We went to the 1st peak. Great views from all around! We had cloud cover at first & waited until it...More

I have been to this park a number of time. I go there hiking. The park has plenty of hiking trails. My favorite is to the top of Mount Seymour where you have 360 degrees views. I highly recommend

Fun, easy, and rewarding hike in the snow (bring snow shoes if you have them) to summit of Dog Mountain via First Lake. The views at the top of Vancouver were stunning and made the hike completely worthwhile.

Pretty much snowed all season 2017 from start to finish. Lineups & traffic to get up here were unprecedented this year. Go early - if you're only coming to hike, not ski, tube, or snowshoe, plan on parking 20 blocks away. That said, this is...More

Hello....no, water sports are not part of the Mt. Seymour experience. However, water sports are available near by Mt. Seymour at Deep Cove and in some provincial parks in and around the Lower Mainland of Vancouver.
