I am not a big fan of "edges", so we thought we would try out the smaller suspention bridge here first, before going to Capilano. We were pleasantly surprised how great it was. Lots of parking. It is only a 5 minute walk to the...More

I enjoyed the walk through Lynn Canyon walkway and the overbridge but for too many tourists. The scenery was ok - I am comparing it to New Zealand which means Lynn Canyon doesnt half compare. I hope my country does not get to this level...More

Lovely place for a hike. The trails are good and the forest is wonderful to walk through. The suspension bridge is exciting and Twin Falls bridge, although a steady bridge, is in a beautiful setting. Just be sure to stay on the trails and no...More

Easy access to some lovely coastal forest and a beautiful creek with many swimming holes. Trails are gravel paths with boardwalks, stairs, and a free suspension bridge. Also some great sections for off-leash dog-walking including many "hidden" single track trails that are rarely used.

On a hot, smoky day in August we took a senior couple on a walk along the trails and across the Lynn Valley suspension bridge. There, the air was filtered and fresh. This no-cost trip was awesome and we were able to share some of...More

Glad I rented a car and went there. So gorgeous. First you are greeted by a beautiful tree that ferns have taken to growing on. Then you get to cross a suspension bridge, which is cool but more importantly, free. Also got to see my...More

Great place to walk but waaaay to crowded with people. Try aim for early mornings to avoid the masses.

Despite still being busy here and a hassle getting over the suspension bridge, it was nowhere near as bad as the Capilano suspension bridge. Plus once you crossed the bridge there were many trails which allowed you to get away from large groups of tourists.

It can get crazy busy so arrive early or visit during the week. Definitely worth the visit and easily accessible for those who can't walk long distances.

Lynn Canyon Park is a lovely park with trails and waterfalls. The trails here are well maintained and the suspension bridge from one side to the other is fun to cross. At the bottom of the gorge there were lots of people wading in the...More

We generally take our out-of-town guests for the unique experience of crossing the canyon via the suspension bridge. We like to go before 10, when you can still find a parking spot fairly close to the bridge.

Yes, all the trails make a loop, so you can get there, but it is a much longer route to go there and back instead of making the loop. But the entire park is gorgeous, so would be a nice hike. And yes, MANY stairs as... More
