Walked to Garry point park from Steveston Heritage fishing village, took as a good 10 to 15 min. This park is huge! Biking, running paths, or just walking. Benches in intervals. Visited around dusk and still has quite a number of people, probably good idea...More

A lovely park on the waterfront, which, unlike Stanley Park, has free parking. A grand place to walk along the shore, watch kites flying, and wade in the surf, and it's within walking distance of really good Steveston restaurants (and the cannery museum). Very nice!

Garry point park is right on the mouth of the Fraser river. Nice park to go for a walk, fly a kite or just hang out. You can fish here and there is plenty of parking.

Very nice place for a walk, pipeing , sometimes swimming or just relax. You can seat , make a pic nic , enjoy an ice cream or a fish and chips watching the sea, and maybe some eagles will come around.

It is a refreshing, not too crowded place to run or walk with friends, dogs along the water. There is a bit of "construction" going on so the environment is not as pleasant as I would have hopped. But stopping and watching the barge being...More

Propane cookers/bbqs are allowed. Get there early and claim your spot; it is a very popular place. Cheers
