Our family attends at least 2 times a year to pay respect to my mother-in-law and her mom. My father-in-law purchased placards for them, as well as himself (covered as he is alive) that has a place inside the temple, numbered on the walls. The...More

Rated "Excellent" by me primarily because of the vegetarian restaurant on the premises, which they don't like to call a restaurant, but it is. Outstanding vegetarian food, maybe the best in Vancouver. The servers are all volunteers, and the money charged goes towards the upkeep...More

We "stumbled upon" this Buddhist Temple and gardens near to our airport hotel near YVR. It was so interesting, we actually came back for another visit. As non-Buddhists, we learned quite a bit by taking a leisurely stroll through the peaceful gardens and temple. Plenty...More

Visited this place in the morning and on a non religious day and hence it was pretty empty and you can spend more leisurely time here. Avoid 1st and 15th day of the Chinese Calendar. There is ample carpark lots here as well.

We had a couple of hours to spare before heading to the airport for a flight home and this was a perfect spot to visit. Serene and beautiful. The temple opens at 9:30 but you can go earlier and see the grounds.

People love going to go to the temple to give their thanks and pray. It's also listed as a tourist site, as a must visit for Richmond visitors. One thing you must realize is that it is a business enterprise, but we still go and...More
