This small museum relates the history of the Japanese fishermen and families who settled this area. Very well done.

Went through the history of Steveston with great interest. Many cool artifacts and eye opening facts about not only settlers (Japanese) but also their unfortunate plight during WW2. A great little spot offered at no charge.

Small museum in a working post office, Most displayed covered the Japanese heritage of Steveston. Very interesting displays. Worth 30 minutes it took to walk thru.

This museum was pretty small but there were some interesting things mostly in cases. They don't have a lot of space. There is a gift counter which has items almost entirely devoted to the ABC TV show "Once Upon a Time" which uses the streets...More

I dropped in to ask about the town, etc. Whilst asking about the museum the lady turned and locked the door so I could not enter into it. Guess hospitality has a time and place.

The post office is not open past 5 on weekdays. so I am unable to pick up packages until the weekend, which is a huge annoyance. There are two nearby postal outlets at Seafair Mall and at Super Grocer (only a few hundred yards away)...More

I love using the Post office at this location. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. It's such a gem in Steveston Village

I keep coming back. this place is just great. the service is always great. the building cute and it has some great momentous to by. I do recommend grabbing the once upon a time map and touring the shops the bit from here.

This little museum is located at the back of the Post Office/Visitors centre. We went into the visitors centre to look at the Once upon a time merchandise and to find out when filming was taking place in Steveston, so to stumble across this museum...More
