Brewery tours run Monday to Saturday, starting from the Visitors Centre, they last approximately 2 hours. The first 1½ hours are spent around the brewery where you'll see our original steam engine, learn about our history and how we make our range of delicious beers. Once outside the Brewery, don't forget to keep an eye out for our working Shire horses, which still deliver beer to our local pubs. If you are planning a visit to the brewery and would like to see the drays on their regular delivery rounds it is always best to phone ahead and check that the shires will be working on that day. In any event, the tour of the brewery includes a tour of the stables so you won’t miss out on seeing these amazing animals. Upon completion of the tour, it's back to our sampling bar in the Visitor Centre for a ½ hour beer tasting. It is essential to book a Brewery Tour by contacting us on the phone or email. Cost: £14.50 per person, £12.00 concessions

If you love going around "proper" breweries this is a must. Had a great 2 hour tour around this tower brewery as part of a large group. Our tour guide Phillip led us around the old building and left us to sample the beers at the end !

We were lucky because we were the only 2 people on the tour so we had a very personal guided tour,Keith our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the brewery and it made the trip.

Great tour round the Hook Norton Brewery with Phillip. Myself and a number of colleagues from work cycled over for the tour, we were made very welcome, given a first class buffet lunch, great tour and sampled some of the finest beer you are likely to taste! Would highly recommend for those interested in a decent pint and how it... More

This is a destination for beer connoisseurs. The quality of the tour depends on which guide you get. I went as part of a large group so we were split into 3 tours and there was also another tour in the building at the same time. There are 6 levels in the building with many varied stair cases between: you... More

A very knowledgeable chap named Pete took us around. The tour lasts approx. 1 1/2 hours and is well worth the money. Great history and a wonderful building. Nice to sample the beers at the end with Pete talking about them as we sampled. Everyone was so friendly, well worth a visit.

We knew that my elderly uncle would not be able to manage the tour of the brewery and so we chose a day when he could see the horses get ready to make their local deliveries of beer. It was a wonderful spectacle made all the more enjoyable by the friendliness of all the brewery staff we came into contact... More

A wonderful tour round a great brewery. My daughter arranged the tour in secret so very pleased when we pulled into the car park. Fascinating tour round one of the few remaining victorian tower breweries. Tour guide very good and generous tasting session at the end. A visit to the stables and meeting the resident shire horses was the icing... More

This is a very interesting and informative place to see well worth the time. Even if you aren't a beer drinker the history is fascinating and the Horses are lovely and amazing that they are still used to deliver beer

This was a birthday present for my brother and his wife. We had lunch at the Falkland Arms in Great Tew before the tour which was very informative. At the end of the tour the tasters were very good and we then went on to see the wonderful Shire horses who had been out earlier delivering beer to local pubs.

The tour runs twice per day - we choose the 11am and the a leisurely lunch nearby. Our tour guide Peter was very knowledgeable and obviously really enjoyed the brewery and its history. The Victorian building is not suitable for those who do not like or cannot manage steep flights of stairs. After an interesting look behind the scenes the... More
