Grosnez is situated on tall sea cliffs that give great views and have lots of seabirds. There are some lovely walks along the top of the cliffs.

This place is a beautiful place to watch the sunset. The castle is in ruins, but still a sight. There are lovely cliff path walks as well.

The castle is in ruins. The guide informed me that the downfall was the lack of a well. The drive into the castle and the location of the castle are on some stunning terrain. The castle is also cool to imagine what it looked like...More

The Groznes Castle was a great place to visit. We had the pleasure of almost being alone when we visited and that added to the joy. The views are amazing and walking around and imagining the past really adds to the experience. Well worth the...More

Wonderful view of nearly all the other Channel Islands as well as the French coast. Not a lot of the castle remains Some good coastal paths for walks.

Come to this place for the views, the solitude and the space. Not much of the castle is left but that doesn't matter. The views over to Sark/Alderney are stunning.

Quick walk out to the castle ruins. Interesting to see and read the information board. For the future the paths and car park could be improved.

The castle itself, which was originally built in the 14th century, has very little left apart from an archway, but the site is stunning with great walks along the cliffs to an old German fortification. There's no admission charge and there's a large free car...More

This was definitely for me the best part of the entire island, which we saw towards the end of our trip. This ruined castle sits on the northwest point of the island commanding fantastic views on a good day of both Herm and Sark, which...More
