Went here on a very calm day early in the morning and it was so peaceful and quiet. Great for sunsets and taking photos of the other Channel Islands. Great view of solemnity Bay just a few steps on.

Dropped off at this windy high spot 61 metres above sea level. Not much of old castle left. I believe even the entrance bit has been rebuilt. Two more batteries to see and a sad looking out of season race course too. Hardly worth the...More

Stopped here briefly while exploring the North West. Very atmospheric given the weather conditions. There's not much left but the views must be amazing on a clear day.

We parked near Grosnez Castle, has a look around the castle and then took the coastal walk to Plemont Beach Cafe for coffee and cake. The path isn't difficult and Is well used. There are some bench seats along the way, so stop and enjoy...More

Even though the castle is now in a very ruined state, it is still a very interesting place to wander around. The views from here are delightful and the walks are highly recommended. Plenty of free parking

Great place to begin a walk in either direction around the coast. Not a lot of castle left or much information on site so don't expect a 'castle' as such.

Nice little ruin in a very scenic part of the island, there lots of wild life around the site, and several different walks can be started from here. Definitely worth a look if your intrested in the history of the island, parking is free.

The castle comprises of an arch and some ruins; the arch is beautiful in the Jersey granite. There are spectacular views looking down the cliffs into the water and impressive views across to Guernsey and Sark. Nice for a quick exploration.

To call it a "Castle" may build hopes up too far. It was never designed to be lived in, (no water), only as a temporary stronghold against (Viking?), invaders. As a place to go however, whether for a picnic, as part of a cliff-walk, or...More
