Didn't feel welcome here. Not given much information at desk. Quite expensive to get in. You can go to viewing platform and look at craftsmen in workshop for free.

Not quite an accidental visit. Our prime objective was the 'White Horse' on the hillside above Kilburn. The offices and showrooms together with the workshop viewing gallery on the other side of the road distracted us first. These are free but please don’t leave it...More

Beautiful part of the country. The café is a must for all food lovers, we had a cheese board served on a beautiful mouse adorned board. The food was freshly made and we sat out in the sun on the terrace. Furniture is beautiful but...More

Kilburn is a picture post card village and the furniture making business originated by Robert Thompson (The Mouseman), in the village, makes a fascinating stop. Our guide was superb and the cafe excellent with very friendly service.

If you love natural wood furniture, and traditional craftsmanship in its manufacture, then this is the place for you. History abounds. Better bring your cheque book, it's not cheap to buy, but it is quality !

Excellent cafe, very friendly staff, home cooked food with meat from local butchers. Recommend cottage pie, cakes looked very nice but too full to try them! Dog friendly so will be back to try the cakes.

We'd heard about the Mouseman on a TV show in Australia and were surprised when we stumbled upon the visitor's centre. We had no idea that we were going to lose our hearts!! The visitor's centre started with a short video explaining the Mouseman -...More

The cafe and centre is very nice, has a nice patio area at the back which is a sun trap. Service was friendly and excellent. Now the bad part, cheese scone was clearly old, it was stale and dry, it is also very expensive, if...More
